Full Timeline: June 1st → June 30th

On June 1st, I begged Hood County Animal Control to go ask the neighbor where the newborn kittens were. They told me they would call me back that day. They never did.

From June 1st through June 30th, every call I made went to voicemail. I left message after message. No one ever called me back.

The only time I spoke to a real person at Animal Control was June 30th — and only because the Sheriff’s Department kept sending me to Animal Control, and Animal Control kept sending me back to the Sheriff’s Department.

Both Departments Claimed the Other Was Pressing Charges

Throughout June, both Hood County Animal Control and the Hood County Sheriff’s Department repeatedly told me that the other department was pressing charges.

I personally informed each department that the other was NOT pressing charges. Even after being told the truth, neither department acted.

The Contradiction About the Kittens’ Location

During my 911 call (when the neighbor’s adult daughter threatened me), an officer told me over the phone that the other officer found the kittens dead in the field and that the neighbor disclosed the location.

Later, when questioned by the Sheriff’s investigator, that same officer denied ever telling me that.

I do not know whether he lied to me or lied to the investigator — only that the story changed.

Despite the false police report, threats, cruelty, and contradictions, no one has been charged with any crime.

Oak Trail Shores HOA Response (July 2026)

I sent the HOA all details about what happened — including the newborn kittens being dumped in a field, the false 911 report made by Ann, her adult daughter running into my yard threatening me, and my concern that they are luring cats to harm or kill them. One of the videos I sent them is the same video shown on this page, where Ann admits she put the kittens in a field and refuses to tell me where. The HOA reviewed that video and responded using the wording below.

The HOA stated that the videos “do not particularly show any proof of the kittens being dumped by the neighbor” and that “your voice overpowers hers,” so they felt they could not determine what the neighbor said.

Their response is included for transparency. Their inability or unwillingness to act does not change the fact that Ann’s admission is audible in the video, nor does it negate the evidence already provided.

Headline: Public Safety and Law Enforcement Accountability Issue in Oak Trail Shores

On June 1st, a deeply disturbing situation occurred on Blueberry Trail that highlights a massive gap in how our local authorities handle felony offenses and emergency calls.

A resident discovered that newborn, 5-day-old kittens had been intentionally abandoned in a local field. Under Texas Penal Code § 42.092, this is a Third-Degree Felony.

When the resident attempted to get the location to rescue them, the individual responsible called 911 and falsely reported that the resident was threatening them with a lead pipe.

Responding Hood County law enforcement officers chose to treat this as a minor civil dispute. They actively refused to view unedited cell phone footage proving the 911 weapon claim was entirely falsified (a violation of Texas Penal Code § 37.08).

An officer later confirmed the kittens were found in the field dead.

Despite a felony occurring and a fraudulent emergency call being used to weaponize law enforcement, the agency has failed to open a formal investigation or provide transparent call logs.

The complete chronological timeline and the unedited video evidence proving these events have been preserved publicly for community review on a dedicated, uncensored page.
